Google Maps is a very useful service to calculate routes and find locations. However, it has one drawback: it does not allow it to be run without an Internet connection.

Luckily, thanks to GMapCatcher you will be able to use Google Maps at any time, place and computer, being totally dispensable to have a network connection. To do this, its powerful tool is responsible for obtaining that piece of map that you have represented on the screen, exporting it to image mode in PNG format. Different view types can also be stored.

GMapCatcher is fully compatible with GPS devices, showing your location on maps that have been previously downloaded with the program, although this requires Berlios GPS Daemon.

It is also fully functional with services such as Yahoo Maps, CloudMade and Virtual Earth, among others.
